Twice As Nice

It is the second year in a row that Wolkerstorfer Company finished among the elite in the electroplating industry, but making the accomplishment even more impressive is that in 2018 the company was named a Top Shop in both the electroplating benchmarking survey, and the liquid and powder coating survey, which are done at different times of the year. – Products Finishing Magazine, award presented at SUR/FIN June 2019

Leadership Recognized

Wolkerstorfer Company officially passes the baton to the fourth generation naming Steffen Wolkerstorfer as President and Chris Wolkerstorfer as Chief Operating Officer. Their father, Joe Wolkerstorfer, though no longer active in daily operations, will retain the title of CEO.

Nadcap Passivate Added to Offerings

The company is pleased to announce the addition of Passivation to their Nadcap certification for Chemical Processing. To support this new accreditation we have added a new 300 gallon processing line to provide increased capacity and improved turn around.

Steffen Wolkerstorfer joins NASF board

As part of our effort to give back to our industry, we are proud to announce that Steffen Wolkerstorfer has been elected to the National Board of the NASF (National Association of Surface Finishers). As a member of the Board she will have an influence on how our industry will continue to grow in the future.

2017 was a great year for the Wolkerstorfer Company. We were recognized as a Top Shop for Metal Finishing and Paint by our trade magazine “Products Finishing”. Chis Wolkerstorfer was also recognized as a “40 under 40” nationally.

Chris Wolkerstorfer Recognized in 40 Under 40

Chris Wolkerstorfer was recognized by Products Finishing as an industry leader in the 40-Under-40 Class of 2017. “Products Finishing surveyed job shops and suppliers to find … individuals who are making a difference in the finishing industry, both in their businesses and in the finishing community. The recipients were chosen based on leadership and potential leadership – whether it is in the company they work for, or in their industry involvement.”
